These little balls are packed with skin-friendly ingredients—and not only will you love them, your kids will love to snack on them too! Here’s what each ingredient brings to the table:

Sunflower Butter:

Believe it or not, sunflower seeds are one of the best foods to support healthy skin. What makes them so great? Well, they’re an excellent source of vitamin E, an antioxidant that is crucial for skin health.

Pumpkin Puree:

Pumpkin puree is another underrated food for skin health. It’s loaded with fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, and other antioxidants that fight signs of aging.

Rolled Oats:

Oats are known for their fiber content, but what you may not know is that they’re also rich in antioxidants. In particular, oats are one of the few foods that contain avenanthramides, which are anti-inflammatory and have anti-itching properties.

Pepitas:

Pepitas, or pumpkin seeds, are good sources of the antioxidants vitamin E and carotenoids. They’re anti-inflammatory, and add both fiber and protein to this recipe.

Hemp Seeds:

Hemp seeds are one of the most nutritious seeds to add to your diet, with plant-based protein, vitamin E, essential fatty acids, and a wide range of minerals.

Chia Seeds:

Chia seeds are a complete protein, which means they contain all essential amino acids, including those that support collagen production. They’re also high in antioxidants, protein, and fiber.
