Our Favorite Serums and Oils for Gua Sha
Gua sha facials are one of our favorite self-care rituals. We’ve already shared the benefits of gua sha and a step-by-step tutorial on how to use a gua sha tool, but now we’re doing a deep dive into our favorite serums and oils.
Gua Sha 101
Gua sha sculpts the face and moves stagnant energy, increasing circulatory flow and lymphatic drainage. Regular gua sha facials promote collagen production and lift facial muscles to create a more defined jawline and cheekbones, but you’ll notice a reduction in inflammation, tension, and puffiness after a single session.
To get started with gua sha facials, you’ll need a gua sha stone (we love this one from Wildling) and a facial oil or serum to help the gua sha tool glide over your face. This is key—if the gua sha is pulling at your skin, it will do more harm than good!
